From this page, based on the issue you are experiencing, you can take the following actions. Click on one of the following links and follow the instructions provided:


Rowan Network Account Management

This process is the same for:

  • New Students activating their account for the first time
  • Users who lost their Rowan Network Account username and/or password
  • Users who cannot remember their Banner ID or lost their Banner PIN
  • Users who have been locked out of their account

To activate or reset your credentials:

  1. Launch the Rowan Accounts page by clicking on the Rowan Accounts Access page link below (when you're ready).
  2. On the the Rowan Accounts page, click the "I *DO NOT* know my username or password, or my account is locked" button.
  3. Read the instructions very carefully. Follow the user verification procedures as indicated.
  4. Note that on the last page, you have FOUR options. You must choose ONE of the options:
    • View detailed account information: This will notify you of your Rowan Network Account username and Banner ID number.
    • Reset your Rowan Network Password: This will allow you to create or recreate (if lost) a new Rowan Network Account password.
    • Update your Banner Self Service PIN: This will allow you to create or recreate (if lost) a new Banner Self Service PIN.
    • Unlock your Rowan Network Account
  5. After you receive confirmation of the completed process, you can attempt to use your account to log into the CGCE Portal and related services.

Change your Password or PIN

This process is the same for:

  • Users who know their current password, but would like to change it
  • Users who know their current Banner PIN, but would like to change it

To change your credentials:

  1. Launch the Rowan Accounts page by clicking on the Rowan Accounts Access Page link below (when you're ready).
  2. On the the Rowan Accounts page, click the "I already know my password and would like to change it or reset my Banner PIN" button.
  3. Read the instructions very carefully. Follow the user verification procedures as indicated.
  4. Note that on the last page, you have THREE options. You must choose ONE of the options:
    • View detailed account information: This will notify you of your Rowan Network Account username and Banner ID number.
    • Reset your Rowan Network Password: This will allow you to create a new Rowan Network Account password.
    • Reset your Banner Self Service PIN: This will reset your PIN to the default PIN format. The default PIN is your birthday in the format MMDDYY where the YY represents the last TWO digits of your birth year (for example, if you were born on April 1st 1993, resetting your PIN would change it to 040193).
  5. After you receive confirmation of the completed process, you can attempt to use your account to log into the CGCE Portal and related services.
